- [Key Club Food Drive](https://kiwanisny.org/key-club-food-drive/): The North Shore Key Club hosted a food drive for the North Shore Hispanic Chamber of Commence on Nov. 2.Holiday Farms was the location for the event and the shoppers were generous as they filled their bags with various food items, as well as, donating $500.  Each donor received a decorated pumpkin as a thank you for their generosity. These pumpkins were hand painted by key clubbers. - [Benches Stored For Winter](https://kiwanisny.org/benches-stored-for-winter/): Each year Kiwanis Club of the Central Adirondacks provides a dozen benches for weary travelers along Main St. in Old Forge.  For 24 summers, these benches provide an opportunity for travelers, tourists and locals to sit, rest, and watch the world go by. Benches are placed along Main St. in time for Memorial Day weekend in the spring and placed in storage shortly following Columbus Day in the autumn. - [Club Provides Safety Crews for 3-Day Event](https://kiwanisny.org/club-provides-safety-crews-for-3-day-event/): On Sept. 5 the Kiwanis Club of the Central Adirondacks provided 11 safety boats with crew for the annual Adirondack Canoe Classic “90-Miler” Canoe  Race.   Eleven boats plus other safety resources spread out along the Fulton Chain of lakes from Old Forge to Inlet to provide continuity of protection for racers in case of any mishap. The “90-miler”, is a three-day, 90-mile canoe race from Old Forge to Saranac Lake in the Adirondacks.  This year’s race drew nearly 600 paddlers plus support crews from California to Florida, New Zealand, and Canada paddling nearly 300 canoes, kayaks, Adirondack guide boats, and even stand […]
